This issue explores the intersection of communication and law in advancing sustainable development, particularly through the utilization of renewable energy. Communication is understood as a strategic instrument to foster community participation, strengthen multi-stakeholder partnerships, and ensure the sustainability of programs. At the same time, law serves as the regulatory framework that provides legitimacy, protection, and direction for communication practices in development.

The issue highlights how participatory communication and legal frameworks complement each other in promoting energy independence, policy advocacy, and conflict resolution at the local level.
